Adding New Shifts

Add New Shifts in order to adapt to changing circumstances, for example to complete an urgent order.

Shifts can be added by either of the following procedures:

Standard Procedure

To add New Shifts by Standard Procedure:

  1. Click on the Day in which the Shift is to be added

    The Shift toggle in the Schedule window is highlighted.

  2. Select the Shift toggle.

    The Add New Shift menu opens.

  3. Select Add New Shift from the Add New Shift menu.

    The Shift Properties window opens.

  4. Configure the Shift Properties (see Adding Shifts).

  5. Select OK.

The Shift Properties window closes, and the Added Shift appears in the Schedule.

Right-Clicking

To add New Shifts by Right-Clicking:

  1. Stand on the Day Template in which the Shift is to be added, and right-click.

    The Shortcut menu opens.

  2. Select Add New Shift from the Shortcut menu.

    The Shift Properties window opens.

  3. Configure the Shift Properties (see Adding Shifts).

  4. Select OK.

The Shift Properties window closes, and the Added Shift appears in the Schedule.
