Configuring Advanced Request Policies

To Configure Advanced Request Policies:

1. Select the Employees Settings field in the Welcome tree of the Main window.

2. Select the Advanced Request Policies field.

3. Select Add Group.

   The Add New Group window opens.

   4. Add the New Group Name in the Add New Group field.

5. Select OK.

The new Group appears in the Limitation on Employees Requests window.

6. Select Add Limitation in the Limitation on Employees Requests window.

The Limitation pane of the Limitation on Employees Requests window opens.

7. Select the Limitation Type: 

1. Select the Type field of the Limitation pane.

   The Limitation Type drop-down menu opens.

2. Select the required Limitation from the Limitation Type dropdown menu.

   The selected Limitation appears in the Limitation Type field, containing a Select menu.

3. Select the Select menu.

   The Select dropdown menu opens.

4. Select the required value from the Select dropdown menu.

   The Select dropdown menu closes, and the selected Limitation Type appears in the Limitation Type field.

8. Select the Object of the Limit (what the limit applies to):

1. Select the Applies To field of the Limitations pane.

   The Applies To dropdown menu opens.

2. Select the required value from the Applies To dropdown menu.

   The Applies To dropdown menu closes, and the selected value appears in the Applies To field.

9. To add another Limitation Type for the Group (that is, to further limit the Group):

1. Select Add Another Phrase in the Limitation pane.

   An additional Applies To field opens.

2. Select the Select option in the additional Applies To field.

   The Applies To dropdown menu opens.

3. Select the required value from the Applies To dropdown menu.

   The Applies To dropdown menu closes, the selected value appears in the additional Applies To field, and the Select menu opens in the additional Applies To field.

4. Select the Select menu.

   The Select dropdown menu opens.

5. Select the required value from the Select dropdown menu.

6. Select OK.

The Select dropdown menu closes, the additional Limitation appears in the additional Applies To field, and the configured Advanced Request Policy for the selected Group appears in the Limitation on Employees Requests window.
