Configuring Advanced Schedule Rules

To configure Advanced Schedule Rules:

  1. Select Schedule Settings in the Main window.

  3. Select Advanced Schedule Rules.

  5. Select Add New.

  7. Configure the Rule Type:
   a. Select the Rule Type field.

        The Rule Type drop-down menu opens.

            b. Select the required Rule Type value from the Rule Type drop-down menu.

          The Rule Type value appears in the Rule Type field, and the fields in the Rule Type pane are highlighted.
          If the Rule Type contains a Sub Type, the Select Sub Type option appears in the Rule Type field.

5. Select the Select Rule Sub Type value in the Rule Type field.

      The Select Rule Type drop-down menu opens.

   a. Select the required Rule Sub Type value from the Select Rule Sub Type drop-down menu.

        The Select Rule Sub Type drop-down menu closes, and the selected Rule Sub Type value appears in the Rule Type field.

6. Configure the Object that the Rule Type Applies To:
            a. Select the Applied To Shifts field.

    The Applied To Shifts drop-down menu opens.

          b. Select the required Applied To Shifts value from the Applied To Shifts drop-down menu.

        The Applied To Shifts drop-down menu closes, and the selected Applied To Shifts value appears in the Applied To Shifts field.

         c. If the selected Applied To Shifts value opens the Applied To Shifts Select Sub Type option in the Applied To Shifts field,
             select the
Applied To Shifts Sub Type option.

    The Applied To Shifts Sub Type drop-down menu opens.

      d. Select the required Applied To Shifts Sub Type from the Applied To Shifts Sub Type drop-down menu.

    The Applied To Shifts Sub Type drop-down menu closes, and the selected Applied To Shifts Sub Type appears in the Applied To Shifts field.

     7. Configure the Employees that the Rule Type Applies To:
a. Select the Employees field.

        The Employees drop-down menu opens.

b. Select the required Employees value from the Employees drop-down menu.

      The Employees drop-down menu closes, and the required Employees value appears in the Employees field.

c. Select the Select Employees value in the Employees field.

      The Select Employees drop-down menu opens.

d. Select the required Employees value from the Select Employees drop-down menu.

      The Select Employees drop-down menu closes, and the selected Employees value appears in the Employees field.

e. If the selected Employees value opens the Employees Select Sub Type option in the Employees field, select the Employees Select Sub Type option.

f. Select the required Employees Sub Type from the Employees Select Sub Type drop-down menu.

    The Employees Select Sub Type drop-down menu closes, and the selected Employees Select Sub Type appears in the Employees field.

    8. Select OK.

        The expanded Rules Binding window closes, and the configured Rule appears in the Rules List pane of the Rules Binding window.
