Configuring Employees Details in the Job Definition Field

Configure Employee Job Definition details in the Job Definition pane that opens when adding and configuring the new Employees details, in the All Essentials Employees Details window.

Alternatively, navigate to the Job Definition pane in one of the following ways:

Main>All Employee Details field> All Essentials Employees Details window>Select Employee>More Details>Job Definition pane.

NOTE: When navigating to the Job Definition pane by selecting the Job Definition button as shown above,
              only the Employees Job Definition details are displayed.

1. In the Shift field of the Jobs Definition pane, configure the following:
    a. In the Minimum field, assign the minimum amount of weekly Shifts for the Employee, by clicking on the arrow in the field,
                        and selecting the required value from the drop-down menu that opens.

          b. In the Maximum field, assign the maximum amount of weekly Shifts for the Employee, by clicking on the arrow in the field,
              and selecting the required value from the drop-down menu that opens.
          c. In the Preferred field, assign the amount of weekly Shifts preferred for the Employee, by clicking on the arrow in the field,
              and selecting the required value from the drop-down menu that opens.
         d. In the Max. Doubles field, assign the maximum amount of double Shifts for the Employee in the Schedule, by clicking on the
             arrow in the field, and selecting the required value from the drop-down menu that opens.

      NOTE: To configure Shift Minimum, Maximum, Preferred and Maximum Double default values for All Employees, see New Employees Default Settings.

      Example: See an example of a Shift Drop-down menu in the following screen:

        2. In the Rest Hours field of the Job Definition pane:
      1. In the Rest (hours) field, define the amount of rest (in hours) for Employees between days, by clicking on the arrow in the field,                                                      and selecting the required value from the drop-down menu that opens.

      2. In the Pref. rest field, define the amount of rest (in hours) between days requested by Employees, by clicking on the arrow in the field,                                                 and selecting the required value from the drop-down menu that opens.

      3. NOTE: To configure Shift Rest (hours) and Preferred rest hours default values for All Employees, see New Employees Default Settings.

          3. In the Employee Priority field of the Job Definition pane:
        1. In the Employee Priority field,  select the priority value accorded to the Employee.

        2. NOTE: Employee Priority creates a hierarchy for Employees, granting priority to an employee over his co-worker.

          Example: Should 2 employees request to work a specific Shift, and there remains only one vacant place in the Shift, the employee with a higher priority than his fellow employee, will be placed in the Shift.

        3. Click on the arrow in the in the Double Shifts Priority field, to select the double Shifts priority value accorded to the Employee.

        4. NOTE: To configure Shift Double Shifts Priority default values for All Employees, see New Employees Default Settings.

            4. In the Wage/h field of the Job Definition pane, define the wage (per hour) to be paid to the Employee, by clicking on the arrow in the field,  
                and selecting the required value from the drop-down menu that opens.


            5. In the Pair With field of the Job Definition pane, select Employees whom can be paired in the same Shifts as the Employee
                whose details are being configured:
          1. Select the Click to Select option.

          2. The Preferred employees to work with window opens, listing all Employees.

          3. Select the Employees that that the Employees can be paired with in the same Shift, by checking the box next to their names.

          4. Click OK.

          5. The Preferred employees to work with window closes, and the names of the selected Employees whom can be paired with the Employee in the same Shifts, appear in the Pair With box of the Job Definition pane.
