Configuring Employees Details in the Positions and Skills Field

After configuring the new Employee's initial details (see Configuring Employees Details), the Adding a New Employee window closes,
and a new pane in the 
All Essential Employees Details window, with the Employees initial details, opens, in order to complete
configuration of the new Employees details.

NOTE: Configure Primary and Secondary Employee Positions that appear in the Positions and Skills field as shown above, in Configuring Employees Details. Configure the Groups values in the Positions and Skills field as shown above, in Employees Groups.

NOTE: Configuring details as described in steps 1-4 below is optional, conditional on whether Employees Positions will begin or end on a specific date.

  1. Configure the Begins date for the Employees position:

  a. Select the Edit value in the Primary Positions box pane.

    The Employee Skills window opens.

     NOTE: The Primary and Secondary Positions in the Employee Skills window have been previously configured, see Configuring Employees Details.

b. Check the Begins box of the selected position.

      The Begins field appears.

c. Click on the arrow in the Begins drop-down menu.

      The Begins Calender opens.

d. Select the required Begins date value from the calendar.

      The Begins Calender closes and the selected Begins date appears in the Begins field.

   2. Configure the Ends date for the Employees position:
    1. Select the Edit value in the Primary Positions box pane.

      The Employee Skills window opens.

    3. Check the Ends box of the selected position.

      The Ends field appears. Also the Reminder check-box opens.

    5. Click on the arrow in the Ends field.

    6. The Ends Calender opens.

    8. Select the required Ends date value from the calendar.

    9. The Ends Calender closes and the selected Ends date appears in the Ends field.

    3. Check the Reminder box in order to receive reminders of End dates of Employees positions.

    4. Click OK.

        The Employee Skills window closes, and the configured values appear in the Positions and Skills field.

            5. Configure the Employees Requests Policy:
                a. Select the arrow in the Requests Policy field of the Positions and Skills pane.

      The Requests Policy drop-down menu opens.

          b. Select the Requests Policy to be applied from the values in the drop down menu.

      The Requests Policy drop-down menu closes, and the selected Employees Requests Policy appears in the Requests Policy field.
