Configuring Shifts Value

To configure Advanced Schedule Rules:

  1. Select Schedule Settings in the Main window.

  2. Select Shifts Value.

    3. The Shift’s Cost Value Definitions window opens.

  3. Select Add New.

  4. Enter the Shift Description in the Shift Description window.

  5. To Configure the Shift Name:

  1. Check the Shift Name box in the Relevant Shift’s Details pane.

    2. The Shift Name field opens.

  2. Select the arrow in the Shift Name field.

    3. The Shift Name drop-down menu opens.

  3. Select the required Shift Name value from the Shift Name drop-down menu.

    4. The Shift Name drop-down menu closes, and the selected Shift Name value appears in the Shift Name field.

  6. To Configure the Shift Group:

  1. Check the Shift Group box in the Relevant Shift’s Details pane.

    2. The Shift Group field opens.

  2. Select the arrow in the Shift Group field.

    3. The Shift Group drop-down menu opens.

  3. Select the required Shift Group value from the Shift Group drop-down menu.

    4. The Shift Group drop-down menu closes, and the selected Shift Group value appears in the Shift Group field.

  7. To Configure the Shift Hours:

  1. Check the Shift Starting box in the Relevant Shift’s Details pane.

    2. The Shift Starting From and Shift Until boxes appear in the Shift Starting field.

  2. Select the arrow in the Shift Starting From field.

    3. The Shift Starting From drop-down menu opens.

  3. Select the required Shift Starting From value from the Shift Starting From drop-down menu.

    4. The Shift Starting From drop-down menu closes, and the selected Shift Starting From value appears in the Shift Starting From field.

  4. Select the arrow in the Shift Until field.

  5. Select the required Shift Until value from the Shift Until drop-down menu.

    6. The Shift Until drop-down menu closes, and the selected Shift Until value appears in the Shift Until field.

  8. Configure the Cost Value for a Day Template:

  1. Select the arrow in the For Day Template field.

  2. Select the required Day Template from the For Day Template drop-down menu.

    3. The For Day Template drop-down menu closes, and the selected Day Template appears in the For Day Template field.

      9. Enter the Shifts Value (in percentage), in the Shifts Value field.

     10. Enter a Rule Priority value (either 0 or 1) in the This Rule Priority field.

    11. Select OK.

The expanded Shift’s Cost Value Definitions window closes, and the Shift Description appears in the Shift’s Cost Value Definitions window.
